So you probably have some questions about Frag-Loc.  That is
fair.  We have listed the answers to some of the most commonly
asked questions here but if you don't see the answer that you are
looking for just

Q.
A.
Exactly what is Frag-Loc?
Frag-Loc truly is the "5 second revolution" in
mounting live coral frags.  It allows you to
mount smaller frags than ever before and to do
it in a fraction of the time.  Of course, you can
mount regular size and even large frags using
Frag-Loc as well!
What type of material is Frag-Loc made out of?
Each Frag-Loc is produced using "food
grade" inert materials and they are
guaranteed 100% safe for use in all aquarium
situations.  We don't recommend eating them
though!
Each Frag-Loc is approx 1/2 inch cubed and
will be discreet in your tank.  They will quickly
cover with coralline and become completely
invisible.

What types of coral can be mounted using
Frag-Loc?
Frag-Loc makes it possible to mount very,
very small frags that you would have never
even dreamed of mounting before.  I have
extensively tested the design now in my tank
and have successfully mounted many
different types of coral.  Kenyan tree coral,
crown leather, green star polyps, small
branching stony corals, mushrooms, even
single zoos!  And I mounted them all in under
5 seconds each using no glue and rubber
bands.
Frag-Loc is not elaborate at all, it is actually
super simple!  Now the beautiful
part...Frag-Loc is designed to sit in the sand
and hold your frags without being moved,
even by strong direct current.  With a twist of
the wrist, Frag-Loc takes on sand and sits
safely upright.  With another twist it dumps the
sand and is ready to be mounted in the rock
work, or even traded.
But I am just a simple hobbyist, do I really
need some elaborate frag mounting system?
I am interested in trading frags with other
hobbyists.  How does Frag-Loc make that
cheaper and easier?
Obviously, Frag-Loc makes mounting live
coral frags super fast and simple.  But that
is only one advantage.  Live rock prices are
on the rise, and buying live rock at $10/lb to
break into pieces for frag mounting is just
plain silly.  Additionally, shipping frags
attached to a rock that weighs several
ounces or more can add up fast.  Frag-Loc
only weighs a few grams, which means that
shipping costs will be minimized when
trading over long distances.  This is also
great for companies shipping large numbers
of corals and looking to minimize shipping
cost!
